Gyruss was produced by Konami in 1983. Konami released 432 different machines in our database under this trade name, starting in 1978. Other machines made by Konami during the time period Gyruss was produced include Hyper Olympic, Juno First, Mega Zone, Roc’n Rope, Track & Field, Jackler, Video Hustler, Tactician, Super Cobra, and Scramble. A shoot-em-up through the Earth’s solar system where the player’s ship moves in a circular orbit around the outer edge of the screen while shooting at enemies in the center.
